Ok now I am confused a hell with formatting,
Some people say that a blank line between paragraphs looks lazy and scruffy, but to me, not having the line look lazy and scruffy and is bad on the eyes,
What is the correct answer?

I had the same worry once – best advice, look through about 10 books which fit the genre / style your writing in and see what they do then do the same. At the end of the day, it’s not what we the writers think looks good, it’s what the reader expects of a certain type of fiction… hope that helps?
I have looked through all my books and not found line brakes.
General consensus is to never have it!
