So I’m back to editing and writing my books after such a long break and have discovered quite a few errors with Æther Shadow. I’m currently getting it re-edited and formatted and will hopefully get the new version out in both paperback and ebook formats for Halloween. (deadline is actually September for a special preview up in Scotland)
Dragon world exiles has finished its 3rd edit and on its forth rewrite.
Sirens of Albion: Shelly Lee is frozen,
Kitsune, the last of the first trilogy is also frozen until I finish Exiles and Æther Shadow as Shelly Lee and Kitsune are interconnected.
I have been less than productive of late and just haven’t felt like working on any of my books. I am trying to finish off Exiles as that is the first of the phase #0 books, but I am just getting nowhere. In a fit of boredom I have been trying out some 3D Art and the following images are just my playing around.
The manuscript that inspired these images is far from complete and I was hoping to have finished it by now, however, depression is a nasty condition and I just constantly feel down about my lack of artistic ability to get things from brain to paper.
I have a few days leave and hope it will help me out.
I also have a meeting with another Writer soon called Liz Hill and am looking forward to that. For the next few days I will be down in Windsor (UK) so keep a look out for a bloke with a black hoody with a large white skull on the back and the slogan “Deploy, Dominate, Disappear.”
That is all for now.
See you in port soon my fellow Rouges and Airship Captains.
I can honestly say that after four years Book#1: ÆtherShadow is nearing completion. While I still have mixed feeling about it (it was the first one I wrote, but the second to be released) I can’t find anything else wrong with the book itself. There is still some formatting bugs to be cured and some issues concerning #Scrivener, but I will be glad to move on to the next books.
#NaNoWriMo is rapidly approaching and this year I will use it as an excuse to avoid #Dragon World:Exiles and work on the rewrite of joint books #Kitsune and #Shelly Lee which are the next in the story line and show the main characters taking separate paths.
I am still holding hope that it will be finished in time for All Hallows Eve, but one can never be certain.
Well, thats all for now,
See you in port next time Lords, Ladies and Airship Captains.
I jest, but I have finally managed to get the iBooks version of “The End” compiled an uploaded.
So whats the problem?
I fear that the conversion has not gone down properly. I used the same source that was compiled in scrivner for the Kindle version, but I am nervous that the conversion to epub went wrong.
Again, what the problem?
I can’t see what the book looks like until it’s live because there is no preview. I have to trust that the finale version will look like the epub when it goes live!
Now that’s out the way time for a bigger update.
The following contains a big spoilers for those who only read the paperback and iBooks Version
T.D.o.J.P:Book #1.0 :Æther Shadow has finished the 7th draft and is now in the process for editing and Book #2.0: Kitsune still need the first draft rewritten (A 1/3rd has to be cut and moved to a different book leaving it far to short.) Dragons Rising: Exiles is about halfway through the first draft and has a change of series name, Sirens: Shelly Lee has begun the note taking stage.
Sirens is set in the same worlds as The Diaries of James Purcell, but is a side series that fills gaps between the main series from the perspectives of the other characters.
That’s all for now, see you in port next time Airship Captains.
