To see a world in a grain of sand – William Blake.

To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.

A Robin Redbreast in a Cage
Puts all Heaven in a Rage.
A dove house fill’d with doves and pigeons
Shudders Hell thro’ all its regions.
A Dog starv’d at his Master’s Gate
Predicts the ruin of the State.
A Horse misus’d upon the Road
Calls to Heaven for Human blood.
Each outcry of the hunted Hare
A fiber from the Brain does tear.

He who shall train the Horse to War
Shall never pass the Polar Bar.
The Beggar’s Dog and Widow’s Cat,
Feed them and thou wilt grow fat.
The Gnat that sings his Summer song
Poison gets from Slander’s tongue.
The poison of the Snake and Newt
Is the sweat of Envy’s Foot.

A truth that’s told with bad intent
Beats all the Lies you can invent.
It is right it should be so;
Man was made for Joy and Woe;
And when this we rightly know
Thro’ the World we safely go.

Every Night and every Morn
Some to Misery are Born.
Every Morn and every Night
Some are Born to sweet delight.
Some are Born to sweet delight,
Some are Born to Endless Night.

Like many, the first time I had heard that was in the first Tomb Raider film. In that, Angelina Jolie spoke the first verse while remembering her fathers words.
I had completely forgotten about it until I had seen it on a post today.Curios to know and find out the rest of it, I googled it and found it hosted on http://www.poetryloverspage.com

Monocharacteraphasia

So I made the title word up but this is why.

Monocharacteraphasia = An inability to follow more then one character in a story.

I thought that I would crack on and rewrite book two while book one gets looked over and, while the vast majority of it is written there are section which caused problems with certain types of readers. At one point in book two the story leaves the main character and follows a secondary character as they go about action that will an effect in the later part of the story and future books.

It would appear that some readers can’t handle the change from characters and loose the plot line. While struggling to rewrite the prologue I face the dilemma of do I leave these chapters in or pull them. The book can exist in most without them but I fear that If I do pull them then questions will be raised later.
What to do, What to do.

See you in port next time, Airship Captains.

I think I’m done drafting / Don’t Panic Mr Mainwaring.

I think I’m done drafting / Don’t Panic Mr Mainwaring.

So I think I’m done will all the drafting work for my first book but until someone rips it apart and tells me otherwise, I’m stuck.

Thoughts turn to the second book and the first one that I had originally written and I have a panic attack!

I had originally written and added to chapters to the first which I had then moved to the second, but when I looked at the script, they were missing!

After an intense search of my backups and hard drive, they were stored in one of the master manuscript files which contained all my raw notes!

Just need to edit, format, setup online accounts then add the artwork and i’m done on my first novel.

Oh and my certificate came through from the OU so I have officially completed a University course!

No phone, No internet, No Facebook for three months?

No phone, No internet, No Facebook for three months?

I’m sure most of us have seen the message flowing through the interwebz.

No Cellphone, No Facebook, No Computer access, No Wifi for three months & you get 3Million $

Could you?

To be honest if I owned the house (well cottage) I wanted, in the location I want, and I didn’t need the full time job, then would probably attempt it.

Why, do you ask?

I think I would attempt it for just one reason and that reason is to learn more about myself.

Why would I and what would I expect to get from the experience?

I think that learning more about myself would be the biggest thing. to find out more about the inner me and where my life is going would be the leading factor, but learning new survival skills would be a big bonus and who knows, would I have a book to publish afterwards. Maybe a draft of a book but then it would take someone three months to type it up to understand it.

In all honesty, living alone in the middle of nowhere (or a forest) is really appealing to me but alas I’m not in the position to try it. This is a bit short and I have lost the track of what I was thinking when I started, but well, it just my thoughts.

What are your thoughts and could you attempt it?
